He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Brecken and Winnona A. Hernandez (Sneden); his son Gerald J. Brecken, Jr.; his grandchild Harley Brecken; and his siblings, Charles and Patricia Brecken.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda L. Ryan of Fairhaven; and his grandsons, Jeremy, Kristopher Borges and Austin Brecken. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
