It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George J. Moreira of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 5, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph G. and Nora Moreira (Motta); his children, Curtis Moreira (Barbara) of Marion, Pamela A. Francis of Fairhaven and Danielle P. Moreira of New Bedford; his grandchildren, Samantha and Scott Francis; his great grandchild Jakob Francis; his brother Lawrence Moreira (Julie) of Nebraska; his sister-in-law Thelma Moreira; his children, Scott and Helen Moreira; and his siblings, David, Dennis Moreira and Helen Wilcox. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
