He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gomes and Sophie Gomes (Rapoza). He is survived by: his wife Cathy Gomes (Choquette); his son Matthew W. Gomes (Erin) of Fairhaven; his granddaughters, Addison and Hayden; and his sister Beverly Gomes of New Bedford.
