It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire A. Alves (Fairhaven, Massachusetts), born in New Bedford, Illinois, who passed away on September 6, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Clarence M. Alves, Jr.; her parent Simeon Sabourin; her child Brian M. Alves; her grandchild William Alves; and her sibling Florence Sabourin.
She is survived by: her parent Anna Sabourin (Duval); her children, Robert M. Alves (Rosemary) of Pascoag, RI, Kenneth M. Alves (Lynn) of Ivans, Kevin M. Alves (Catherine) of New Bedford, Bruce M. Alves (Jennifer) of Dighton, Carol-Ann St, Trudy M. Fatula (Dale) of New Bedford and Terri-Ann F. Guilbeault (Michael) of Fairhaven; her grandchild Alyssa Boneau; her siblings, Raymond W. Sabourin, Oscar L. Sabourin and Gilbert E. Sabourin; and also Freetown. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
