It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Fonteneau of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 6, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert W. Fonteneau and Irene E. Fonteneau (Roy); and his sister Cecile I. Reid. He is survived by: his daughters, Maria E. Antonelli (Brian) of Fall River and Rachel G. Martin (Edgar III) of Fairhaven; his grandchildren, Joseph, Amber, Edgar, IV, Zachary and Melissa; his great grandchildren, Nova Rose and Lazarus; his brothers, Norman Fonteneau of Fairhaven and Roger Fonteneau; and also Helen Fonteneau (Ramsay) of New Bedford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
