She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bakos and Anna Bakos (Fotopoulos); her husband Jack; her siblings, Mary "May" Bakos, George, Aphrodite Bakos, Charles and Christine Bakos; and her sister-in-law Pauline Bakos.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Fay (Pat) of North Ferrisburgh, VT, Richard Fay (Philip Smigliani, III) of Beverly and Debbie Esolen (Marty) of Everett; her grandchildren, Johanna Fay (Ari Mitchell) and William Fay (Connie); and her brother Louis Bakos of Melrose. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Welsh Funeral Home (718 Broadway, Chelsea, MA 02150). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Church (59 Nichols St, Chelsea, MA 02150). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (302 Elm St, Everett, MA 02149).
