It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Ellard Jr. of Everett, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 18, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard T Ellard and Doris Ellard (Moreschi). He is survived by: his siblings, Charles (Donna Ellard), Diane (Anthony Sclafani) and Janeen (Ronald Scott); and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Dunne, Charles Ellard Jr., Adam Ellard, Brandon Ellard, Karissa Ellard, Tyla Scott and Payton Scott.

“Richie Ellard saved my life when I was 12. On a warm Feb day a group of Russell St Kids were walking behind Northgate on the "snow." I fell through the ice straight d own up to my armpits. Rightfully, everyone backed up. I could not move and it was cold. Without hesitation Richie, who I really didn't know hardly at all, crawled out and gave me his hand and pulled me out. Sorry to hear of his passing. Two kids and four grand kids later we all thank Richie Ellard. Respectfully, Jeff Burke”
