John Fidler wrote a sympathy message

“It was a pleasure knowing Paul, if for only a couple of years, but it was a greater pleasure being his daily partner in cribbage at the Knights. His careful discarding to the crib was a distraction to his opponents that threw them off their game and why we won most of the games together. God Bless to the Wedge family you all can be proud to have had Paul as a father and grandfather. John Fidler”

Bobby Lynn wrote a sympathy message

“I didn’t know Paul for very long but he most certainly left a positive impression with me. Over the last few years, I’ve seen Paul at a local bar and we have had some great conversations… You know when they say, “Listen to your elders”, well this rings true here… Quite the wise man and a lot of fun to be with. GOD BLESS you Paul. I will miss you very much. Thanks for the talks 🙏 RIP 🙏🇺🇸🙏”
