He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael F. Balzotti and Eleanor Balzotti (Olivieri); his wife Carol A. Balzotti (Polcari); his children, Col. Michael R. Balzotti, Courtney of Oregon and Stefanie M. McKanas (Leon) of Pelham, NH; his grandchildren, Michael Aiden Balzotti, Luke Aren Balzotti, Dylan McKanas and Gracie McKanas; his nephews, Matthew and Dario Polcari; and his siblings-in-law, Philip Polcari of St. Augustine, FL and Nancy Polcari of Chelsea. He was also cherished by his family, a loving partner to his wife, and a devoted father and grandfather.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Church (59 Nichols St, Chelsea, MA 02150). Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home (65 Clark St, Everett, MA 02149). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the same location.
