It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Giunta of Everett, Massachusetts, born in East Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 11, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Angelo; her daughter Diana (Frank Taliaferro); her parents, John and Fernandina (Nasiemienta); and her siblings, Alda Palermo, John Franco, Fred Franco, Richard Franco and Ralph Franco.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Carbone (Robert) and Philip Giunta (Valerie); her grandchildren, Robert Carbone (Karen), Diana Barrucci (Jim), Philip Giunta (Rachel) and Jeff Giunta (Elizabeth); her great grandchildren, Billy, Meghan Bird, Lauren, Jason, Matthew Barrucci, Diana Marie, Patrick Carbone, Avery, Charlotte, Abigail, Benjamin and Daniel Giunta; and her great great grandchildren, Breelyn and Mason Bird.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mrs. Giunta to Jimmy Fund.
