He was predeceased by: his parents, John Donati and Grace Mottolo; his wife Betty Lou (Hogan); and his sisters, Lillian Bartolo and Ginny Algeni.
He is survived by: his children, April Bertocchi (Dennis) of Malden and Joseph R. Donati, Jr. (Jason Wheeler) of Everett; his siblings, John Donati of Florida and Dolores Sullivan of Cape Cod; his grandchildren, Dennis Bertocchi, Jr. (Jackie), Nicholas Bertocchi (Caroline) and Krysta Bertocchi; and his great grandchildren, Auri Kasica, Laura Bertocchi, Luna Bertocchi and Kai Morgan.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home (65 Clark St, Everett, MA 02149). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (770 Salem St, Malden, MA 02148).
