She was predeceased by: her husband John Showstead; her children, Brian Showstead and Janet Showstead; and her siblings, Hilda Tyler, Lester Vinal and William Vinal (Billy).

She is survived by: her sister Christine June Gudroe of Maine. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
