He was predeceased by: his parents, Angela Canto and Gaetano Canto; and his close friend Judith Repici. He is survived by: his sons, Donald Canto and Charles Canto; his granddaughter Angela Canto of South Carolina; his brother Charles Canto (Susan) of Everett, MA; his nieces, Marcy Shute (Christopher) of Lynn, MA and Lisa Canto of Everett, MA; his nephew Guy Canto (Karen) of Billerica, MA; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sarah Shute, Sophia Shute, Tyler Canto, Jack Canto and Theodore Schratweiser.
