She was predeceased by: her husbands, Francis T. Desmond, William Hoefsmit and Robert Binkelman; her siblings, Elizabeth Doherty and James McNally; and her children, Stephen, Patricia and Robert.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, John Desmond (Bridget) and Shirley Desmond; her children, John (Paula), Barbara Cammarata (Salvatore), Mary Desmond (David Nelson), Kevin (Karen), Paul (Martha), Joan Sullivan (Gerard), Susan Desmond (Andrew Marcinkowski), Theresa Sajedian (Hooman), Elizabeth Desmond (Michael Rachlin), William (Tricia Wilde) and Christine Maxwell; and her daughter-in-law Linda Desmond (Jeanette McNally). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends, as well as the devoted caregivers who partnered with her children and grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Homes Inc. (331 Main St, Everett, MA 02149). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (487 Broadway, Everett, MA 02149). A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (175 Broadway, Malden, MA 02148).
