He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry and Catherine; and his siblings, Rosemary Machunski, Katherine Kumm, Theresa Gardiner, Henry, Robert and James.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine M. Hoover (Canty); his children, Stephen (Patricia) of Everett, Ellen Mosher of Amesbury and Joan Callahan of Danvers; his grandchildren, Nolan, Timothy, Brendan Hoover, Nicholas, Michael, William, Julie Mosher (Stephen Blatancic), Kyle and Liam Callahan; and his great grandchild Adalyn Hoover. He is also survived by his siblings, children, nieces, nephews and later in life with his grandchildren.
