He is survived by: his children, Connie Smith, Virginia Smith, Alejandro Smith and Carlos Eric Smith (Jill Landry Smith); his stepsons, William Smith (Julie Steele) and Daniel Smith; and his siblings, Maria Mojica, Hilda Mojica, Nilda Mojica, Edwin Mojica, Luis Mojica, Isidoro Mojica, Alfonso Mojica and Jose Luis Mojica. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
