Adrian Bartolo wrote a sympathy message

“It's been a bit over 5 years now. Miss you Dad. You should have stuck around. I needed you. You taught me so much about culture, art, Italian food, authentic Chinese food and damn do I miss you. I see reminders of you everywhere and I wish you didn't leave me. I will make you proud Dad. You will be remembered. Your art said more about you than you could say yourself. I am the son who got the best of your genes and mentality. If anyone is the successor to your passion and dreams it is I.”
