He was predeceased by: his son Peter D. McPhail. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Brooks McPhail of Ipswich; his brother Don W. McPhail of Essex; his son Marc Stewart of Saugus; his daughter-in-law Maria Stewart of Saugus; his daughter Jayne Marshall of Texas; and also, Melissa McPhail of Ipswich and Mary Caldwell of Ipswich. He is also survived by his wife, Susan Guest-McPhail of Essex;; son.
