With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Davis Cushing of Essex, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 10, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sarah Ridge Cushing of Essex; his parents, George Marston Cushing Jr. and Mary Margaret Cushing (Loring); his son Samuel Appleton Cushing of Newport, RI; and his siblings, Margaret Channing Cushing of New York, NY, George Littleton Cushing (Elizabeth Hunt) of Portland, ME and Edward Baldwin Cushing of Essex. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
