He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred F. DeScenza and Bertha DeScenza (Silver); and his sisters, Ethel M. DeScenza and Doris MacIsaac (DeScenza). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Tyler DeScenza; his cousin Vern; his brother-in-law Hugh MacIsaac; and his daughters, Sheryl DeScenza Tacy (Kevin Tacy), Deborah DeScenza, Diane DeScenza Herth (John Herth) and Alison DeScenza Hodgman (Lucian Hodgman).
