He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia F. McAuley (Washwell); and his parents, Walter E. McAuley and Helen McAuley (Jasinski). He is survived by: his children, Patricia Raymond (Robert "Biff") of Palm Harbor, FL, Catherine Doherty (late Patrick) of Stoughton, Walter E. "Butch" McAuley III (Denise) of Stoughton and William J. McAuley (Charles Dunne) of Easton; his grandchildren, Cristin Doherty, Caitlin Vacca (Anthony), Matthew McAuley (Ruthie), Erin Kelley, Michael Raymond, Brian Trayers (Stephanie) and Rebecca Trayers; his great grandchildren, Haley, James, Mia, Nicholas, Sean, Jaxon, Rocco, Justin, Jayson and Cameron; his great great grandchild Dominick; and his siblings, Dorothy Marcelonis of Norwood, Jack McAuley of Stoughton, Paul McAuley of Pembroke and Janet McAuley of Weymouth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farley Funeral Home (358 Park St, Stoughton, MA 02072). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (122 Canton St, Stoughton, MA 02072). A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (1100 Central St, Stoughton, MA 02072).
