He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter M. Jones and Mildred Jones (Estabrooks); and his brother Walter Jones. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Jones (Pittard); his daughters, Kerri Cronin (Joseph) of Middleboro and Kelli Jones of Taunton; and his sisters, Deborah Smalley and Joyce Baltusis. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
