She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. Bassett I and Amanda B. (Morgan); her siblings, Joanne V. Dupre and Richard A. Bassett; her child Kelly J. Lowell; and her grandson David J. MacNeill.
She is survived by: her siblings, George H. Bassett II of Nantucket and Bonnie J. Fauteux of New Bedford; her daughters, Melanie A. Beach (Lawrence T.) of Carver, Laurie L. Lowell of Carver and Julia B. Lowell of Easton; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Santagate, Jody Santagate, Melanie Beaulieu, James Deming and Zachary Simison. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
