He is survived by: his wife Holly J. Walsh (Farrar); his children, Rebecca Walsh of Easton and James Walsh of Easton; and his siblings, Susan Grant of Middleboro, Joseph Andrea of Bridgewater and Patricia Andrea of Florida.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services (605 Washington St, South Easton, MA 02375). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.

Maureen Cummings wrote a sympathy message

“Our sincere condolences are sent to HOLLY and the children. John is one of my first cousins. I actually never met him, but we talked on the phone on many occasions.. Our mothers used to be phone pals, and after they both passed away John and I picked up where they left off. I know his family will miss him dearly and they are in our prayers. Maureen and Dick Cummings”
