With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Walkeapaa of Easton, Massachusetts, born in Weymouth, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 13, 2025 at the age of 55. As Gary departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gary leaves behind.
He is survived by: his wife Terese M. Walkeapaa (Frazier); his mother Joan; his sister Stacy Dixon (Dan) of Stoughton; his godson Patrick Dixon; and his niece Jordan Dixon.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services (605 Washington St, South Easton, MA 02375). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Church (225 Purchase St, South Easton, MA 02375). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery (97 Canton St, North Easton, MA 02356).
