He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Looney Jr. and Virginia Gertrude Looney (Law); his wife Jane K. Looney (McMenamy); and his siblings, Marcia Looney and Daniel Looney III.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa J. Erickson (Jeff) of Middleboro, David J. Looney Jr. of Mississippi, Nicole Looney of Milton, Danielle Looney of Milton and Michael P. Looney of Easton; his siblings, Robert Looney (Diane) of Virginia, Joanne Corriveau (Steve) of West Bridgewater, Nancy Fox of Florida and Michael Looney of Raynham; and his grandchildren, Jae Looney, Rowan Looney, David Erickson, Anna Jane Erickson, Jeffrey Erickson, Jack Erickson, Ava Lee Looney, Natalie Rose Looney and Maeve Reggiannini. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
