He is survived by: his children, Patricia A. Blackwell of Easton, Alan L Blackwell Jr. of Easton, Madelyn A. Curtis (John) of New Jersey and David J. Blackwell (Brian Adams) of Medway; and his siblings, Waldo "Emmy" Blackwell and Althea Bridgewood. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
