He is survived by: his parent Gloria Garvansites (Best); his siblings, Kathleen Petersante of Westfield and Walter; his nieces and nephews, Tracy Marshuk (Michael) of Westfield, Sarah Yell of Goffstown, Nicolas Yell of Brockton, Ryan Yell of Easthampton, Penelope Marshuk and Michael Jr.; his close friend Charles Duncan; and also, Mary Yell of Easthampton, Lousisana and Garvansites, Jr..
