We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2022, at the age of 97, Helen Balcanoff (Easthampton, Massachusetts) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Balcanoff to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmo Brown and Mary Brown (Morath); her husband Dr. Eugene Balcanoff; her siblings, Edward Brown and Eleanore Brown; and her granddaughter Kristina Clark (Tina).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Sara, Kaisa, Alison, Helaina, Eric, Rachael, Jacob, David, Samuel, Christopher, Julia and Elise; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Vera and Isaak.
She and her son-in-law, Russ, were knownin the community for their almost daily walks during the first year of the Covid-19 pandemic, where they clocked an impressive 100 miles walked together, a pastime they enjoyed and continued until just weeks before her passing.
