She was predeceased by: her sons, David and Kevin; her siblings, Helen Donnelly, Marlene Garvey, Shirley Ciampi and Charles; and also, John and Buddy.

She is survived by: her parents, Charles Shearer of Easthampton and Ellen Shearer (Flahive) of Easthampton; her children, Nancy Favaro (Patrick Ott) of Easthampton, John Favaro Jr. of Easthampton and Susan Favaro (Ron Glidden) of Easthampton; her significant other Ernie; her siblings, Sylvia Gallagher of Easthampton and Edward Shearer of Venice; her granddaughters, Jamie Favaro (Jonathan Goldman) of New York City and Johanna Favaro of Marlborough; and also Susan.
