He is survived by: his uncle Gus; his aunt Ella; his wife Ruth; his brother Paul; his sister-in-law Carolyn Henneman; his daughter Lori; his son-in-law Mark Windoloski; his grandchildren, Dave Hennemann, Kristen and Jeffrey (Zoe); his great grandchild Isaak; his stepdaughter Angie (Tyshon); his stepgranddaughter Ella; and his godson Tom Wegman.

Donations in memory of Don can be made either to St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Holyoke or the Holyoke Soldiers' Home.
