She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Stanavage and Sue Johnstone; her husband Melvin L. Darst II; her daughters, Erica Petrosky and Catherine Case; her stepchildren, Shawna Johnson (Dave), Stephanie Parks (Paul) and Melvin L. Darst III (Jill); her grandchildren, Madden Hatoum, Everett Petrosky, Vinson Case, Sky Johnson, Breeze Johnson, Storm Johnson, Sumer Tanzillo, Prestyn Parks, Cooper Parks, Corey Darst, Garrett Darst and Lindsay Darst; and her siblings, Robert A. Stanavage, Patrica Frey, Sheila DeRisi, Merry Towse, Holly Michaelsen and Stefanie Franco.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests considering a donation in Anita's name to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
