He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Powers and Irene Powers (Eldridge); his wife Nora M. Powers (Fitzgibbon); and his siblings, Thomas J. Powers and Robert C. Powers.
He is survived by: his children, Robert P. Powers (Jane) of Wenham, Mary J. Lewek (David) of Mount Pleasant, SC, Thomas J. Powers (Lori) of Easton, Noreen E. Gordon (Dennis) of East Walpole and William J. Powers (Jill) of Amherst, NH.; his grandchildren, Thomas (Rose), Peter (Emily), James, Ryan, Nell, Kellie, Betsy, Abigail, Tara, Alec, Audrey, Amy and Charlie; his great grandchild Paulina; and his brother Paul F. Powers of Westwood.
