We bid farewell to William E. Carleton of East Walpole, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 23, 2024 at the age of 67. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carleton and Rita Catherine Carleton (Keough); and his nephew Darren Carleton. He is survived by: his siblings, Cathy, Pamela J. Gibson (James) of Foxboro, Terence Carleton (Sharon) of Needham, Michael Carleton (Jeuli Bartenstein) of Arlington, Virginia, Christopher Carleton (Michelle) of Foxboro, Thomas Carleton of Foxboro and Catherine Mock (Paul) of Foxboro; his nieces and nephews, Leah Gibson, Jessica James, Sara Gibson, Erik Carleton, Megan Carleton Stepanian, Timothy Carleton, Devon Carleton, Emma Carleton, Benjamin Carleton, Julia Sproul and Colin Mock; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Anna, Katelyn, Audrey James, Leighton, David Sherlock, Charles, Emma Stepanian, Livia, Evan Carleton, Noah Sproul and Cashel Carleton. He is also survived by his brothers, sisters and their spouses.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home (48 Common St, Walpole, MA 02081). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Church (176 Washington St, East Walpole, MA 02032).
