He was predeceased by: his parent Philip Michel; and his sibling Donald Michel. He is survived by: his parent Edyth Michel (Forsythe); his wife Vivian M. Cyr; his children, Lynda S. Michel Benson of Plainville, Cheryl Michel Barnes (Walter) of Walpole, Mary Elizabeth O'Brien (Colin Mark) and Brien III of Georgia; his grandchildren, Melissa Mae Benson of Plainville and Colin Mark O'Brien, IV of Walpole; his great grandchild Colin Mark O'Brien; and his siblings, David Michel of Washington, Barry Forsythe of Franklin, Philip Michel and Patricia Hamm.
