Reidar Tryggestad Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reidar Tryggestad of East Walpole, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jørgen Tryggestad and Stina Tryggestad (Solbak); his siblings, Kjell, Aslaug and Gunvor; his daughter Anne-Stine; his wife Carolyn; his children, Kari-Elise, Sylvi-Linn and Jon-Erik; his grandchildren, Silje, Erlend, Ragnhild, Dahlia, Clara, Eliza and Andrew; and his great grandchildren, Mio and Ariel.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home (48 Common St, Walpole, MA 02081). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (24 Berwick St, Norwood, MA 02062).
