He was predeceased by: his wife Genevieve "Gene" Dineen (Tomershea); his siblings, Charles Dineen, Frederick Dineen, Marie Hanley, Edward Dineen, Philip James Dineen, Bernadette Santoro and Carol Varnum; and his parents, Charles D. Dineen and Bernadette M. Dineen (Farnsworth).
He is survived by: his children, Paul J. Dineen (Deborah E.) of Norwood, Janet E. McCormick (Kevin) of East Walpole and Anne Marie Mercuri of Gilford, NH.; his grandchildren, Michael P. Dineen, Julianne M. McDonough, Patricia J. Mee, Jessica M. Dineen, Kristina M. McNamara, Lauren E. Mercuri and Joseph E. Mercuri; and his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Keira, Shay, Avery and Abigail. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the American Diabetes Assoc.
