She was predeceased by: her parents, Adelard Canty and Yvonne M. Canty (LeBlanc); her former husband John Violette; her husband Herbert Armstrong; her daughter Lisa Marie Violette; and her siblings, Doris Dewey, Evelyn Canty and Paul Canty.
She is survived by: her children, Linda M. Vickery (Eric) of Lunenburg, Christine A. Phelps (Gary) of Athol, Jean M. Duguay (Jay) of Florida, David John Violette (Terri) of Connecticut and James M. Violette of Gardner; and her stepdaughters, Gail Morehart (John) of Florida and Judy Letendre (Gregory) of Florida. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
