It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Sweeney (East Templeton, Massachusetts), born in Gardner, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 1, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Sweeney and Dorothy Sweeney (Graves); his wife Mamie Teittinen; his children, Jamie Edwards (Gregg), Susan Couture (Robert) and Dean Sweeney; and his grandchildren, Leigh Edwards Peter Edwards, Benjamin Edwards, Heather Couture, Thomas Couture and James Giacobbi.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the Masonic Lodge Scholarship Fund, 42 Central Street Gardner MA 01440.
