He was predeceased by: his parents, Joao Freitas and Maria Freitas (Sousa Corvelo); and his grandson Christopher Freitas. He is survived by: his wife Teresinha Freitas (Serpa); his children, Jose Freitas of Taunton, Maria Hughes of Norton and Fatima Fortuna of East Taunton; his grandchildren, Cesar, Miguel, Susan and Marcio; and his great grandchildren, Aryonah, Jaymeson, Constance, Soleil, Noah, Christian, Jagger, Maddox and Aria.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to the Saint Vincent dePaul Society of Annunciation Church in Jose's memory, would be deeply appreciated.
