He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis D. Legere Sr. and Marie (Arseneault); and his sisters, Eleanor Saillant, Shirley Cornell and Jean Legere.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Legere (Machado); his son Scott Legere (Kalia Legere); and his grandsons, Nathan Everett Legere and Zachary Francis Legere. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
