He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund C. Gagne Sr. and Francis Panepinto; his parents-in-law, Lauretta and Charles Browning Sr.; and his brother John Gagne.

He is survived by: his wife Priscilla May Gagne (Browning); his children, Lynn Bartlett (Gagne) and Ed Gagne III; his grandchildren, Nathan, Noah, Drew, Robin, Cameron and Kaitlin; his great grandchildren, Ellie and Shia; his daughter-in-law Ellen Gagne; his grandchildren, Hannah, Emily and Ian; his sister Rosemary Lewis (Brian); and his nieces and nephews, Denise, Chuckie, Chris, Nicki, Ray and Melissa.
