He was predeceased by: his parent James E. Holland; and his sister Patricia J. Bird of Spencer, MA. He is survived by: his spouse Marion C. Holland (Nelson); his parent Marguerite Holland (Henke); his children, Gail C. Holland of Hyannis and David E. Holland (Susanne) of East Sandwich; and his grandson Noah J. Holland of East Sandwich.

In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the James R. Holland Memorial Fund at Christ Chapel, 1200 Old Stage Road, Centerville MA.
