With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma Helen Illig of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 2, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Salter and Edith Salter (Wickett); her husband Robert; her siblings, Bill, Don, Gene and Margie; her sons-in-law, Jeffrey and Mike; and her granddaughter Francine.
She is survived by: her daughters, Noreen (Robert), Arleen, Bonnie (Gino) and Cindy; her grandchildren, Amy, Beth, Carol, Keith, James, Valerie, Katie, Michael, Maria, Heather, Kurt and Danielle; and her great grandchildren, Harper, Kassie, Jacob, Jimmy, Josh, Karissa, Hayley, Bob, Eve, Kyle, Daighan and Caedman.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lombard Funeral Home (3 Bridge St, Monson, MA 01057). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hillcrest Cemetery (32 Wilbraham Rd, Monson, MA 01057).
