He is survived by: his children, Patrick Murphy of Springfield, Jack Murphy (Kayleigh Murphy) of Ludlow, Hope Murphy and Eddie Maiben of Boston, MA.; his siblings, Joseph Murphy of Springfield, Ellen Murphy, Michael Preston of Springfield, Mary Frances Bortolussi (Louis) of East Longmeadow, Neil Murphy and Linda Carbonell (Kara) of Springfield; his nieces and nephews, Karra Bortolussi, Katelyn Scanlon, Michael and John Bortolussi; his stepchildren, Cristi, Rachel and Michelle Carter; his stepgranddaughter Madeline Gamber; and his extended family, Duagh, Kerry and Ireland.
