He was predeceased by: his parents, Rena Sheets (Mastrangelo) and Richard "Dick" Sheets. He is survived by: his wife Diane (Newton); his children, Adam and Leah Sheets (Ben Belden); his brothers, David (Kathy) and Bill (Shannon); his niece Jessica; and his nephew Nicholas Sheets.
