He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Murphy (Devine) and John H. Murphy; and his son Timothy John. He is survived by: his wife Patty (Albano); his son Gregory; his close friend Ira Kowarsky; his brother John Murphy; his siblings-in-law, Tina McLaughlin (John) and Anthony Albano (Aimee); and his cousins, Katherine Smith and Judith Manferdini Smith. He is also survived by four nephews.
