Getty of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 7, 2024 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Getty and Blanche D. Getty Jr. (Shumway); his brothers, Kevin Getty and Michael Getty; and his nephews, Patrick Getty and Sean Getty.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Carol Getty of Palmer; his nephews, Christopher Getty and Brian Getty (Melissa); and his great-nephews, Cadell, Adrian, Brayden and Gavin.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Chapel of the Acres (21 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Agawam Massachusetts Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
