With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Murphy (East Longmeadow, Massachusetts), born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 1, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Daniel Murphy; her parents, Abraham L. Bryant and Catherine Bryant (Leahy); her children, Daniel J. Murphy (Cindy), Patrick J. Murphy of Holyoke, Mary Anne Whitney (Richard) of Springfield and Catherine Murphy of Springfield; her granddaughter Julie Ryan (Chris); her great grandchildren, Mikayla of East Longmeadow, McKenzie of East Longmeadow and Madison of East Longmeadow; her grandchildren, Christina Witherspoon, Michael Murphy, Theresa Bendzinski, Sam Whitney, Matt, Joe Streeter, Gina Murphy and Sarah Whitney; and her son Stephen G. Murphy. She was also cherished by 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many cousins and extended family.
