She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Douglas (Susan) and Anne Maskowski (Farrell); her daughter Karen; her husband Dave; her children, Jack R. Daponde and Sarah M. Daponde; her brother Christopher Douglas; and her nieces, Evie Douglas and Megan Dillard. She was also cherished by extended family members and friends.
